Part 3 Membership

This part of the examination is mainly clinical but includes an structured examination in pathology and microbiology.

After the successful completion of these three examinations, the trainee will be considered to have reached a high standard of ophthalmic practice and will then be eligible to compete for a place in HST. Those who do not wish to pursue this route will have had training and will be in possession of the Membership Diploma.
