The Eleventh convocation of the National Board of Examinations is scheduled to be held in the conference hall of Shilpakala Vedika , Shilparamam , Madhapur , Hyderabad on Saturday the 26th March 2005 from 3.00 PM to 7.00 PM
All the candidates who have passed the DNB Examination in December 2002, June 2003, December 2003 and June 2004 and Post Doctoral Fellow ship examinations in 2004 will receive their degrees at this Convocation

Dear Candidate,
I take this opportunity to congratulate you on your passing the prestigious Diplomate of National Board of Examinations. In order to confer the degree, the Convocation of the Board is scheduled to be held at 4:00 P.M. on the 26th March 2005 in the Auditorium of Shilpakala Vedika, Shilparamam, Madhapur, Hyderabad.
Details governing the Convocation procedures are given in the attached set of instructions. It is matter of greater pleasure for us to confer the degree in person in the midst of galaxy of medical educationists. You can also bring along with you, two persons for this occasion.
I shall be grateful if you could kindly make it convenient to attend the Convocation in person and receive the degree. The candidates are requested to make their own arrangements for stay and travel. Kindly confirm your attendance or otherwise on or before 1st March , 2005 in the prescribed form enclosed.

Instructions to candidates
1.The annual convocation of the Board for conferring postgraduate and post doctoral qualifications on the successful candidates of the examinations of 2005, will be held on Saturday, the 26th March, 2005 at 4:00 P.M. in the Shilpakala Vedika. Prof. A. Rajasekaran, President, National Board of Examinations will preside.
2.Candidates eligible for award of the above qualifications only will be admitted in person at the Convocation.
Applications for admission to the above qualification in person or in absentia in the form enclosed should be forwarded to Dr. A. K. Sood, Executive Director, National Board of Examinations, Ansari Nagar, New Delhi, so as to reach him on or before Tuesday, the 1st March 2005. The applications should be accompanied by a passport size photograph of the candidate duly attested.
Candidates desirous of being admitted in absentia should clearly state in the application forms.
3.Identity-cum-receipt slip
Each candidate should obtain from the Assistant Controller of Examinations an identity slip on Saturday the 26th of March, 2005 at 8:00 A.M. sharp in the foyer of Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad.
4.degree in absentia
Candidates who are unable to attend the convocation in person should apply for admission in absentia in accompanied form along with a passport size attested photograph and a D.D for Rs.100/- only, drawn in favour of National Board of Examinations, New Delhi.
5.Rehearsal
There will be a dress rehearsal on the 26th March, 2005 in the auditorium Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad at 10:00 AM. All candidates should attend the rehearsal to facilitate orderly conduct of Convocation.
The candidates for admission to the Degree in person, must be present at the rehearsal where there will be a roll call. They must remain in their seats in the convocation hall till the rehearsal is over.
6.No one will be admitted to the hall after the final roll is called.
7.seating arrangements in the convocation hall
Candidate who are present in the convocation in person will be allotted a seat and a list showing the seat numbers allotted to them will be displayed outside the convocation hall.
8.academic costumes
The candidates shall wear prescribed costume which will be available at the premises of convocation, on payment, on 26th March 2005, 3 hours in advance of the rehearsal.
9.convocation dress
The men candidates should appear in high-buttoned-up-coats with trousers (National Dress) or trousers with coat and neck tie and the women candidates should wear sarees with blouse; or shirt with salwar or chooridar pyjamas.
10.STAY & TRAVEL
Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for travel and stay at Hyderabad. National Board of Examinations will not be able to make these arrangements for the candidates, However for your guidance a brochure containing the necessary information is enclosed.
