everything was chaos as i started late and was lucky because of the effective london tube system. my allotted time was 8.45am ,they checked our names ,took a photo gave us the id card and provided us the lockers . by the time the exam started it was 9:30am.
i got the following stations...
1)Respiratory system examination of a chronic smoker-no positive findings except clubbing.
2)CVS examination in apatient with Rt heart failure-jvp visible,mild pitting pedal edema,nothing else.
3)Knee examination of a young football player after he hurt himself while playing-medial collateral ligament injury.
4)Child CPR-child collapsed in a hospital canteen.
5)Patient started on Paroxitel 10 days back,he is concerned about it,talk 2 him-couldnt find BNF.
6)Young woman with left iliac fossa pain-history taking.
7)Patient diagnosed to have Multiple sclerosis-counsel him.
8)Malena and headache for 4 days in a 54 yr old woman-
9)Child with scalding burns braught 2 A&E on examination bruise on the left arm was found,talk 2 mother and discuss with examiner-child abuse.
12)Weight loss in a 30 yr old-history taking(Hyperthyroidism).
13)Recurrent urinary tract infection in a child-history taking.
14)Terminally ill 62yr old patient on maximaum possible dose of diclofenac for pain releif with no relief,your consultant wants to change the drug to morphine....talk 2 the patient.
