Eligibility: MBBS degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. The candidate must have completed the internship. The candidates must have studied Mathematics at +2 level ( The students who have passed +2 level Mathematics as additional subject from National Open School or State Boards are also eligible for admission). Seats are reserved for SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates as per Government of India rules.

Admit Card:Admit card is an important document, which has to be produced during the test, counselling, and enrolment. It will be issued only to those candidates who submit the application form complete in all respects before the closing date. It should normally reach the students by 28.3.2003. If it is not received by this date, the Chairman GATE should be contacted immediately. The Institute will not be responsible for any postal delay or irregularity resulting in late or non-delivery of the admit card.
Admission Test: The admission test will be of objective type to test the aptitude of the candidates in +2 level Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics apart from the standard syllabi of MBBS. It will consist of 10 questions in Mathematics, 15 questions each in Physics and Chemistry and 80 questions based upon MBBS syllabus. The test will be of two-hour duration and will be held between 10.00 and 12.00 hrs on 13.04.2003. Note that the test date and time will not be changed under any circumstances.
