Hi all! I gave my PLAB II on jan30 and cleared! I attended coaching 10 days before the exam and though I felt very ill prepared and nervous going for the exam, I was pleasantly surprised by the exam per se! believe me, it is not scary or difficult and its ok if u dont complete the stations or dont know the answer to everything they ask u.

The important things to remember are: to be V.nice & V.considerate to the pt/actor ALWAYS, no matter how tense we are, to look & act confident and relaxed and not be afraid to say'I dont know but I'l find out and tell u in counsellig stations! I was in the last batch so there was enough time for tension to build up, being shut in a room with 15 other plabbers, nearly all of us convinced that we didnt remember anything we had read or practised. the 4hr wait was the WORST part of the exam! future PLABbers in the afternoon batches would do well to practise meditation/relaxation in this time because the wait is agonizing! However contrary to rumours, the actors and the examiners were not nasty or frustated but were pretty nice and helpful. once the exam starts, time flies! I hope all future PLABbers have a similar positive experience & clear
