Admission to the 1st year P.G. course in the above five Government Medical Colleges in the State is centralised and is made on the basis of a common entrance test conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination, Govt. of Kerala 25% of the total seats in these Medical Colleges are filled through All India Entrance Examination counducted by AIIMS, New Delhi

The common details for these colleges are as follows :

Reservation of Seats : 75% seats are reserved for graduates the state whereas 25% seats are filled through All India Entrance Exam.

Minimum Qualification : MBBS degree examin of Kerala/Calicut Univesity

Domicile bar Only Derala domiciled candidates are eligible. Following categories of candidates are also eligible for admission. (i) Children of Central govt. employees who do not belong to the state but are serving in the State at the time of submission of application form (ii) employees of the UNICEF and other agencies of the United Nations and (iii) Persons who are not domiciled in the state but are employed in Registered Joint Stock companies (Private and Public) and in other Government reconised institution in the State are also eligible.

Method of Selection : Selection is made on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test held for the purpose. The test is of objective-Type consisting of 300 MCQ's to be anoncred in 3 hours and consists of MBBS level.

How to apply : Application forms can be had from any of the Principal of above five Medical Colleges from last week of May onwards on cash paypment of Rs. 75/-or by sending Rs. 80/- Money Order to get forms by post, Postal Orders and Cheques are not accepted.

Last date : Last date for receiving completed application forms by the commission for Entrance Examination, Trivandrum 685041 is in the month of June of the year of admission.
