After getting the VISA, buy a return air ticket. There are lot of companies and your local agent may tell about the current fairs

Important part of preparation will be shopping. Buy only essential things and remember not to exceed your luggage limit (20Kg) Cloths are generally costly in UK Suite is not costly, as you may get a good suite for £ 100- £115.

How much money you may need?

It is highly relative and depends on your standard of life. The main budget will be of accommodation in East ham, London you may have to pay £40-50 per week for accommodation. If you are prepared to cook you may need around 40 pounds per month. So one may need around £ 240 for very basic needs. Phone calls and Travelling is expensive and will add to your budget. Standard phone card will charge you 35-40 pens per minute to India and around it to Pakistan. For Applying for the jobs one may need around 50 pounds per month and another 50 pounds for making phone calls to the hospitals and for visiting the hospitals in an average a candidate may spend around 300-350 ponds per month.

While making your budget don't forget to add the fees of the exams, your intend to take (PLAB, MRCP, FRCR), courses to attend and the registration fees of 270 pounds.

Tips for preparation to fly

Do not exceed the luggage limit; Usually luggage limit for economy class is 20 Kg. Your main baggage can be up to 23 Kg (there is a good chance that you will not be charged for extra 3 Kg). Usually hand luggage will not be weighed. But if it looks big and heavy they may ask you to weigh it, in that case it should not be more than 7-8 Kg (Maximum)

Keep your passport and flight ticket in your coats inner pocket. As you may have to show it several times.

Be careful about your Passport and belongings.
