WITHDRAWAL Candidates who withdraw their application will be provided a refund only if written notification of withdrawal is received by the MCC a full sixty (60) days before the start of the examination session. An administrative fee of $200.00 CDN ($130.00 US) will be withheld. Penalty fees paid with respect to a late application are non-refundable. The candidates Entrance Card must be returned before a refund can be processed otherwise the refund will be delayed until after the exam session.
MCCQE Part I candidates cannot transfer to a future examination session. Candidates must withdraw and reapply when they wish to take the exam.
ABSENCE ON THE DAY OF EXAMINATION
A candidate who is absent on the day of examination will not be entitled to a refund of the examination fee paid, nor any portion thereof. Very exceptionally, a refund may be authorized by the Executive Director of the MCC when the MCC is notified at least one day prior to the scheduled exam date AND the reason for the absence is a circumstance beyond the candidate's control. The candidate must also follow up with appropriate supporting documentation (e.g., a physicians statement) within two (2) weeks following the scheduled examination date; otherwise, all fees paid will be forfeited. In the event that a late withdrawal is approved, an administrative fee of $200.00 CDN ($130.00 US) will be withheld from the refund.
