MRCPsych Part 1

The Birmingham MRCPsych Course is aimed at candidates appearing for the MRCPsych examination. A snapshot of the course is provided here.

Part I OSCE

The course aims to combine elements of practice under exam pressure, using professional role players (who actually are in the exams), with feedback on performance and an element of coaching, with each candidate practising at least 4 stations and observing 24 stations in all.

Course material covering Model answers to these stations will be provided.

08:45 - 09:15 Registration & Introduction
09:15 - 11:00 Session I (6 OSCE Stations)
11:00 - 11:15 Break
11:15 - 01:00 Session II (6 OSCE Stations)
01:00 - 02:00 Lunch
02:00 - 03:45 Session III (6 OSCE Stations)
03:45 - 04:00 Break
04:00 - 05:45 Session IV (6 OSCE Stations)
05:45 - 06:00 Feedback
Dates: 9 & 10 October 2004 (Two one day courses)


Course fees: 250 pounds


Venue: Uffculme Centre, Moseley, Birmingham
