we are looking for a solution for these spamming practices. Moderating each and every post is physically not possible, so we are trying to device other ways. Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks Rxpg, but these "spamming" doesn't appear so because, the members (I'm not sure if they only joined to sell stuffs) are the one selling the stuffs.
It's really difficult to moderate each and every thread, I agree. Will try to think of suggestions and will post it. Thanks!

Hi RXPG!
1) I would like to suggest why not put up a section in the Australian forum where people can browse through the lists of books/reference through which they can buy? Umm, I mean unlike buying from Amazon, the books can be advertised by those who wants to sell it whether brand new or second hand. I know you have an advertising area for free here, but that might be harder to access. In the Australian FAQ section perhaps? It would be good to provide an option for members wanting to buy the books. As moderating the whole forum is not possible, I would suggest that people may somehow report to you which thread is selling stuffs and that you may decide what action to do upon it.

or 2) The selling of stuff in the forum may only be posted after the person who wants to sell has posted helpful posts in the forum (much like using the credit system/ trust rank)

What do you think? icon_smile.gif

Hi Rxpg, I was wondering, is there a way of separating the threads at the AMC forum regarding the selling of stuffs, like putting it as some sort of FAQ-like separation? I think it's cluttering up the forum, without very useful information at all. Some people might disagree, but that's what I feel. Thanks!

hey nic tht was wonderful.i asked someone to post the mcq's they bought n they said they cant breach the trust!!!!!!!!!

Yeah New_doc, I've read that too. It's disappointing. Well, lets work together to post the recalls we have instead. It will benefit the whole forum, instead of just a couple of people.
Let me again express my sentiments that I've noticed that a lot of newbies seem to be joining only for these, and then they disappear once they get these recalls. I think that is unfair for RXPG who has worked so well for the community.
