What about subjects like Radiology,Anasthesiology,Dermatology and Psychiatry?

psychiatry & others..
Neeraj Ahuja is a very good text book for psychiatry for final MBBS.

Harrison is also good for newer drugs & DSM-IV TR criteria..
DK- notes on psychiatry is also a good one..

skin is good from Davidson & some topics from Golwala & Harrison.

but if you want to prepare well, go for PG books..

Primary anasthesia is a good choice for Anasthesia,so said the Post Graduate Students in my coll. Also, reading a few chapters from Tripathi about anasthetic agents, muscle relaxants, preanasthetic medication helps.

hi thr
arre yaar how many books do we have to study....final yr mein thr are 4 subjects and in 3rd first there are 3+4 thats 7...in that too we have to consider ortho as a separate sub and evn skin vd and tb chest thats around 10 i suppose..gr8 yaa.....neways ppl start studing exams r in nov-dec..... and this yr we cant evn think abt leaving things in option...becauz the muhs paper standard r increasing...

so all i can say is think positive and be optimistic no matter whtever the situation is... dont panic..and all the best to evrybody..take cr

CMDT is a wonderful book... U need to grab the latest copy. Read Pathogenesis and Clinical features from Harrisons or Davidsons, & check out Diagnosis and Treatment from CMDT. It gives latest and Authentic and easy to read n remember info

each person is different from other , so is their grasping power , reading style & so on. i would suggest one should not blindly get books what every one is following but go through books & see which book you are more comfortabile , then only you should get it. I was advised by seniors to get davidson , which is a really , good book but i felt more comfortable with clark. CNS is best in harrison.one other thing is that we are studying a professional course , not in a primary or high school . one should refer different books when studing a topic caz you never know each book might have a new point that you never know abt. OP ghai has most of the thing best , suraj gupta has few topis best .
