by sunshinenjoy - 16545 reads, based on 29 votes
This post is in response to the numerous emails I have received this last one
month regarding applying to the US. One thing that prospective applicants must
understand is there is no hard and fast rule as to what would work and what
would not. You must use your reasoning to decide that.
I’ll try to touch on five general topics of queries I have received. Hope that
helps....

by sybarite - 15566 reads, based on 23 votes
Here is a structured framework for all those desirous of pursuing graduate studies abroad. The views expressed here are entirely my own, and please follow my advice at your own risk.

Others include nutrition , dietetics , psychology , health management, Physiology and Pharmacology . I must add here that there is a reason why public health is so popular.. it is a lot easier to get into. Though there is more funding in micro, the c...

A to Z Guide for GRE Exam after MBBS
by veenalanka - 40944 reads, based on 104 votes
I just wrote
GRE (Graduate Record Examination, Conducted by ETS, U.S.) last week. I want to
share whatever information I gathered with the future GRE test takers.
Basically, I could not find as much info as I wanted when I was preparing for
GRE. In addition I realized that people in cities have greater access to GRE
aids than those from small towns and remote areas. GRE is quite a simple exam
and there is no need you should back away from it simply due to baseless fears.
I scored 1440
(verbal reasoning: 710 and quantitative reasoning: 730). Verbal reasoning and
quantitative reasoning scores are reported on a 200-800 score scale, in 10-point
increments. I am still awaiting ...

by yogidas - 190736 reads, based on 350 votes
Hi friends, My name is Yogeshwar D. Suryawanshi.( NIT(REC), Calicut). First of all I would like to thank Ullash , Raj , Amit ,Sunil .. few to mention here.. my class mates who initiated me to write this article. My special thanks to “ SUJAY RAJENDRA SANGHAVI ” from IIT Bombay who earlier made a similar effort by writing an article. The process for higher education in USA is supposed to be a long, meticulous and often painful process ( you can imagine from the size of this article), but is definitely worth it if you want a good graduate education in the engineering sciences. Some of you may know the process already; in that case please forward the article to your friends in need. This artic...

General Tips For GRE by Sunshine
by sunshinenjoy - 15525 reads, based on 32 votes
I am writing this article because a lot of people wanted me to share my experiences regarding GRE. I took my GRE on the 17th of August 2005 and scored a neat 1370 (580 verbals + 790 quants).
* The first thing you need to decide on is whether you will be able to handle the whole process of preparing and taking the GRE. Ofcourse there must have been tougher exams you have taken in life. Never mind that. All you need here is a lot of funda in english and the ability to do school level maths quickly. Remember, a lot of people take it, and make it as well. All you need is a positive attitude and lots of motivation and hard work....

How to choose a college in the US after GRE
by - 13371 reads, based on 9 votes
ROBERT RAYMER offers a practical guide to varsity-hunting for students hoping to further their studies in the US.
ONE of the most difficult decisions for international students wishing to study in the United States is deciding which school, whether it’s a college or university, is right for them. The choice can be overwhelming – over 3,000 colleges and universities to choose from.
The fastest way to come to a decision is by process of elimination. If your programme of study is specific, like Landscape Architecture or Music Therapy, you eliminate all those schools that don’t offer that major....
