well rakhi shaws has mentioned 5 -10 yrs i think thts y u posted this q.

i think i wud mark 10 yrs coz i remember frm my Gynae lectures tht around a decade wud pass before a precancerous lesion develops into carcinoma cervix tht is y the screening is highly rewarding in this carcinoma.......

even in my lectures too i was told the same thing but actuallly i wanted to know about the time reqd for each step also .so should we go for 10 yrs but nidhi ans given at one place is20 even
