ectopic sal gland can +nt anywhere b/w 1st & 2nd branchial arch territory in lat. wall of neck,pharynx,& middle ear

bailey says...minor salivary glands...are distributed in ilps, cheeks, palate, floor of mouth retromolar areas......oropharynx..larynx, trachea, and other sinuses!!!!!!!!
Not sure how to interpreat about ectopic from this
