following is the article from hindu's online edition:-
Common entrance test for MD, ME on August 7, 8
By Our Legal Correspondent
NEW DELHI, MAY 15. The All-India Medical and Engineering Colleges Association (AIMECA) has announced that an All-India Common Entrance Test (AICET) for admission to post-graduate courses such as MD, MS, M.Pharm, M.Sc. (Nursing), ME, M.Tech., M.Arch., MBA
and MCA will be held in several centres on August 7 and 8.
The association, with its headquarters in Delhi, is conducting an AICET for medical, para-medical, nursing, pharmacy, dental, agriculture and engineering courses on July 10 and 11 and [no ads please]
of application forms has already started and the last date for submission of the forms is June 25.
In a press release, the association president, T.D. Naidu, said in the light of the Supreme Court judgments, conducting an AICET on behalf of all self-financing professional colleges for the management quota had become inevitable.
Some of the authorities had ruled that colleges which did not fall in line with AICET should necessarily have to take the examination conducted by a government agency. The association, he said, had over 1,000 colleges as members and filling seats under the management quota was the right of these self-financing colleges, which did not depend on any aid from the government or government agency. At the same time, the association wanted to ensure that admissions for the post-graduate courses all over the country be made on a foolproof system such as the AICET.
The release said the AICET would ensure inter-State admission under the management quota at any self-financing institution and the candidates need not obtain a separate form from any of the institutions for admission to the management quota.
The information booklet and application form could be downloaded from the association websites — and — and the last date for submission of application forms for P.G. admission is July 18. The results of the test would be published on August 20 and admissions would commence thereafter, the release added.

They probably will take lakhs as they take in UG level. it wont be less than that....fees for PG is very obviously going to be more than the UG one..
