elevation of nasal tip.this technique is done usually in drooping or plunging tip of nose.

upper part of lower lateral(alar) cartilage is excised keeping 4-8 mm of lateral crus intact.and the upper end of this cartilage is sutured to lower end of upper lateral cartlage.there by pulling and elevating the nasal tip.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
confusing????????

just see the picture of nasal skelton and imagine the effect of this procedure..
