All are true about hypertrophic obstructive cardionyopathy except
a) Assymetrical septal hypertrophy
b) Systolic ventricular dysfunction is absent....a?????
c) Anterior leaflet movement is delayed
d) Cardiac output is diminished

Echo in HOCM typically reveals a diastolic dysfunction with reduced LV compliance. icon_eek.gif

Systolic function is good; 8)

in fact, the LV ejection fraction is usually high to normal at the time of diagnosis.

Apart from the thickened septum,another hallmark of HoCM is the systolic anterior motion of the anterior mitral valve.

I think choice c(anterior leaflet movement is delayed)
should be the correct answer!
