mean and std deviation can be worked out only if the data is on--
1.interval/ratio scale.
2.dichotomous scale.
3.ordinal scale.

for interval scale agreed --but how can we work out this for ratio scale?

ha in the same way as we do for interva scale. Its common to use the mean .......... rate is ..... etc!!!!!!
