You are eligible for MRCP after 18 months of your MBBS degree.... YES!
BUT you will not be prefered for a Foundation Year 1 post after 18 months of graduation.

Simple rule of the thumb is

Come to UK as earky as possible after final year exams.... And pray for Foundation programme... cause without it your career in UK is ruined.

Or finish PG degree at home and take as many parts of memberhip exams you are eligible for before you come to the UK.

j_p, I haven't got any emails of consultants! Sorry! icon_sad.gif

I saw a link on a forum (I think Clin Attach forum).That link might be helpful.

If you know any, pls let me know too cos I'm in search of attachments in the field of Cardiology or GI or any specialties in Internal Medicine.

but kanna.............in one of the posts, a PLAB moderator by the nickname of bindasnikhilg, had mentioned that you had given to him a couple of emails of cosultants. and one of them had agreed to take him as an attachee.
