Is it Left Occipito-anterior OR Left occipito-Trannsverse??
Is it different at the time of engagement & at the onset of labour?

Wait friends!

In Dutta, 5th ed, chapter 8, pg 80, in fig 8.3, LOT is the commonest(40%) position of vertex at onset of labour, f/b ROT(24%), LOA(13%) & ROA(10%).

Also, in mechanism of labour, it is written that head enters the brim more commonly through transverse diameter (70%) & to a leesser extent through one of the oblique diameters, accordingly the position is either OL or OA respectively. The occipito-lateral is commonest..

What do you say?
