hi. could someone please advise me, that which is the best online course for MRCPCH 1 study to take. up till now i had heard of onexamination.com, but some people on this forum suggest 123doc.com
i will be very happy if somebody could please please give me a good honest opinion.
and, i will also be very happy if somebody studying for this exam would like to join in studying with me. please let me know.

Hi,

I did a lot of research before chosing my online course. A friend of mine used onexamination and was not happy with the results, he also did not pass the exam, though it could hav e been for other reasons as well.

i used 123doc.com and was very happy. questions were hard and challenging and the mock exams are what i credit for my success.

hi gangadharan, i will be very grateful if you could also please answer my question which is very very important.......i was told that i should prepare basic sciences from phillipa easterbrooke for MRCPCH 1. however, i want to know whether i should study the whole book (with all the Anatomy even unrelated to paeds) or just do selective studying from it.

The mock exams i used were included with the fee for the 123doc online course. they were the same lenth as the MRCPCH and taught me how to pace my answering of questions, which i though was quite good.

As for Phillipa Easterbrooke, I didn't study with it. But don't study things not on the MRCPCH syllabus, as nothing related came up on the exam.

I think you must study easterbrooke,as you would find questions related to Anatomy ,physio,Biochemistry .I studied the whole book including stats.

I passed my exams with the 123doc online mock exams and so did my friends. I just foundit alot easier to follow, I've also studied with other online courses but didn't find them to be as effective
