Quick Scroll why PG seats are reduced this time at AFMC , Asvini etc 05.11.06 (2 years ago) #1

To all PG aspirant , muster your courage & fight back the system-
Not even a single seat was given / catered for civilian candidates this year who stood good ranks in CAT PG 2006 conducted on 12 Feb 2006 for 4 institutes viz AFMC , Asvini , R&R delhi & Air Force hospital Banglore.
Office of DGAFMS is responsible for this as they do not want to take civilian candidates at these institutes , Then why they invited the applications for PG exam , just to harvest money from so many candidates & make union government fool of its policy ( TGC rule 2000) that they will take civilian candidates from open market & train them so that they can serve the Nation better & can be kept in reserve pool at time of National emergencies war etc.

We should try to do something to safeguard our interest, these people like DGAFMS cannot play with our futures like this. Just look into the hard labour , money , time , sleepless night , peak levels of adrenalin, anxiety phases we have borne for this exam , & in return we got nothing. There is something known as credibility of the system , we blindly believe that system of exam ? Allotment of seats etc will be fare in the Armed forces, but do we find is it so.
Let us revolt against this system, and with "right of Information Act -2005 " in vogue we can definitely ask about the exact PG seat distributions at various (all of 4) institutes. & Subsequently we can file a court case , that “why PG seats were reduced to nothing ??” , & not even a single PG seats were catered for Civilians candidates . As this time number of seats allotted at these institutes is equal to the number of Ex SSC candidates selected thus The DGAFMS office is trying not to take even a one single civilian candidates at theses institutes , & if any civilian candidates manage to get it , then it is because the seat was not taken by the Ex-SSC candidates. Last year in 2005 many seats were available for Civilian candidates than why not this year ??
Having said so , I call all candidates to join hands for this battle , please post your views , so that next plan of action can be made.
After all it is our future & Carrier is at stake.
