3.i sympathise wid u but unfortunately in ur case there is no other go except waiting untill ur husband come.

this is bahavioural science question. the best way to handle the patient is to give a supportive bahavioural approach. she wants to take her birth. i think she can wait till her husband arrive before doing this there is no matter of urgency in taking birth.

one need to be empathic and supportive.

what do you think guys???

I think the answer is A and here are my reasons.

Calling the plumber, waiting for the husband and support groups won't solve the immediate problem which is the pain the patient is experiencing and which needs to be adressed. I think as a doctor it is we should solve the immediate problem of pain first and then adress the handle of the tap by calling the plumber and other issues.

jus checkin this forum:
Lets go one by one

1. Cortisone injection: This solves the physical problem temporarily; But Q is in bhv science, so its not the exact answer
2.Plumber: How can he help? Will he come and do that for her. No
3.waiting till husband comes. This can be cosidered as being rude. U cant escape just by saying "i sympathise"
4.support group: It doesnt solve the problem directly. Its there for discussion among people with similar problems. Though it might help indirectly its not the best answer
5. Long handle. This is practical solution, which offers solution to her problem. This kind of home assessments to look at the practical problems of the patients , making changes in the home so that patient can function to his/her optimum level comes under Occupational Therapies. Occup Therapies main aim is to look into this kind of stuff and help physically and mentally less able patients. For example if patient is finding it hard to reach things in over head cupboard they will recommend changes and offer practical solutions like making a new cupboard at lesser height so that she can reach.
OccuIn this case they will recommend Long wide handle.

This is reallyconfusing for me.

Every answer seems to be correct in some way.
How does she go to doctors office for injection when she can not even turn the bath room faucet?

exactly, she wouldnt be able to go.

This Q is seems quite confusing ...hmmm why? Because
the Q is vague,
the options include not one right and 4 wrong answers but 5 possibilities.
you have to choose the best possibility.

Lets look for clues.
first clue: its Q in bhv science
second clue: some weird possibilities can be excluded straight away. Remember you can do this. You are not expected to explore every option thoroughly and argue all are right answers because
third clue : there is only one answer

So as explained in previous post 5th option is right
