I passed MRCP part 2 on first attempt.

keys things i did were
1) 123doc.com - practiced all the questions twice and took many mock exams. at the exam questions were very likewise.
2) Oxford Handbook of Medicine textbook - read the book and make notes.

i focussed a lot on key exam topics and tried to memorised key facts and made notes. then i would go to 123doc and type in search term box to get all questions on that topic and do them all. read all the links to their online textbooks, handout.. this way i studied in depth all important topics
then i did lots of mock exams.
it took me 4 weeks to do it all twice. the second time it was much quicker.

Kumar and clarck not so useful for part 2 i thought.
