i dont think there is a need for dilution, you just take it out of the ampule and inject it, i dont think there is any time for you to dilute it anyways.

Adrenaline dosage:
note: i ampoule of adrenaline = 0.5cc = 1 mg

cardiac arrest:0.5-1 mg (5-10 ml of 1:10,000 soln) diluted to 10 ml with NaCl administered iv (intracardiac use is no longer advocated)....every 5 min.
If no iv access then drug may be injected via ET .Perform 5 rapid insufflations, forcefully expel 10 ml containing 1mg adrenaline(0.1 mg/ml) directly into the tube, follow with 5 quick insufflations.

In hypersensitivity reactions, bronchial asthama(status asthamaticus/severe acute asthama),urticaria, anaphylactic shock: use subcutaneously.

However in anaphylactic shock since the peripheral circulation is hampered , hence instead of s.c. route i.m. route is preferred.

In control of superficial hemorrhage: 1:1000 to 1:10,000 conc. is used to control superficila hemorrhage(eg: tooth extraction, epistaxis etc.) by topical application-packs (not advocated by some).

Hope this info helps.
