ANTON'S SYNDROME: a form of anosognosia in which patient denies & is often unaware of , the existence of clinically demonstrable blindness & may resort to confabulation to hide it. Due to bilateral infarction of occipital lobes. AKA Anton-Babinski's Syndrome

BABINSKI'S SYNDROME: late syphilitic manifestations with chronic syphilitic meningitis, cardiac & arterial disorders, tabes dorsalis & paralytic dementia
