hello dinor,can u tell me step by step what we need to do to apply for the f1 posts in august?all i know is tht
1)u have to get elegibility letter from GMC
2)u have to get a form which is available on newdoctor.org signed by the dean of your college.
Is that all or are there anymore forms tht we need to get signed from our dean?also how do we get the elegibility letter from GMC???do we call them and tell them to send us one?plz let me know..

Sonzee, I did not apply thru the multi-daenery system. I replied to the advertisement on bmjcareers. I had passed my Part 2 in Jan while the closing date for the multi-deanery system was on the 5th of December. And hence am not aware of whether we require the form to be signed by the dean of our college. I was under the impression that the Dean's approval was for local graduates while we had to obtain the eligibility letter from GMC. For this u have to go to GMC and fill in a form and then they would post the letter out to u within 5 working days.

Can someone else pls enlighted abt us abt the dean's approval, coz i'm uncertain.

Sam, Sorry i missed ur post.
Well the application and interview were supposed to be for a PRHO post but when the paper-work came it stated F1 post, so hehehehehh. I dont want to complicate things right now. They have been prety slow in sending the paperwork. When I start i will clarify this with them.
Dont get dishearted if ur applications have been unsuccessful. But if the format of ur applications have been the same then get someone else to have a look at it. Maybe even a professional.

do u think someone can help me to edit my application form as it has been the similar for most of them.
i mean could i ask my refree to check it for me as i am in dilemma whether to ask them or not. so far i have applied for so many places but no response at all,although i have a dependant visa.
ur humble suggestion will be appreciated

For sure... Don't be disheartened if ur refree declines as they may be busy. But if there are willing then GREAT...
I would definitely recomend that. Especially if the refree has been on interview committee or is a consultant or even an SpR.
