Associated inflamation.

In patiemt with primary or secondary hepatocellular carcinoma presence of cirrhosis is relative contraindication to tumor resection due to decreased hepatic reserve. Hepatic resection one of option for surgical intervention.

Technicium-labelled sulfur colloid that is phagocytosed by reticuloendonthelial cells of liver could present "cold spots"as a lesion:tumour, abscess,cyst, hemangioma or diffuse pathy reduction in uptake: diffuse parenchymal disease ( e.g. chirrosis).
So, diagnostic of chirrosis is primary prerequesite for evaluation of treatment .
