Plenty of books are there and u will be recommended a few of them.

Better to consult a senior of your own college and have a look at the contents of those few recommended books and decide yourself !!

All the best !!

Pathology - ROBBINS is a must !!!
at least the general pathology and haematology. .
Initially u may find it very volatile and you may reach saturation soon.
But trust me on this .. if you read Robbins .. half of your final year portions is covered .. it forms a strong base ..
Harshmohan for systemic pathology ..
as my friend who read systemic also from Robbins only got 55/100
in 2nd professional exam. .
so systemic part from Harshmohan ...

pharmacology - KDT ... it is a boring book .. plus difficult to cover during exams ...
it's better to keep making notes .. and flow charts .. but this is one book which will help for pg entrance also.
About katzung .. I've read katzung in my 2nd year .. and my friends used to laugh at me .

But the language is tasty .. and mechanism of action are so easy to grasp ...
that adverse effects can be recalled very easily
but still it's individual choice to go for katzung.
not compulsory

microbiology ..
ananthanarayana ... plus baweja ..
ananthanarayana for concept .. immunology and other parts are given quite nicely in ananthanarayana ..
baweja is more of notes .. you can easily write in exam from that book.

forensic .. not the right person to guide.

EXAM ORIENTED SUGGESTIONS

there is a manipal book of pathology under elsevier publications. .
has Nice flow charts and tables

pharmacology .. tara v shanbagh and adverse effects cartoon from lipincott

microbiology ... baweja .. or there is one book called Nagoba .. easy to grasp ... many people in my college read that book for exams

forensic .. again no idea.
