any moderators or any other ppl if u have idea abt this plz help!

once i have paid ecfmg 75$ for token and its 4 days since the payment and it is confirmed in ecfmg account and my due is 0$.
now WHERE IS THAT DAMN TOKEN/CODE.
i couldnt find it in my oasis account.
im afraid to again goto request token page as i may again be charged 75$. is that so?
or after payment we have to again go and add some details through request token page.

go to your oasis account

click on eras token request on the left column of the oasis account

click on residency token request

the next page will carry ur token no. usually 24 hrs after ur payment is received

incidentally after you submit ur eras -document package, the very same page will tell you whether it has been received and scanned. usually takes 10 business days.

hi all rxpg members,
i have recently finished step 1 and expecting my scores. and in the meanwhile going to us in the first week of november.

i just wanted to know what letters and others things are required from my college, so that i can go to college and collect it.

also are recommendation letters must required from our college faculty heads for applying to residency in us.

i have read earlier posts saying that no recommendation letters from india are accepted in us, so it is worth taking recommendation.

You would wanna get the following documents from your college faculty

Dean's letter (MSPE): Your Dean should know the format
Atleast four LORs
Medical school transcript (if u didnt already get it on passing out)

And yes you do need LORs to apply
Although a US LOR carries more weightage,
Its not that big a deal! Try to get most of 'em
from the speciality that u r interested in..and ask
for two copies if possible..since you have to submit the original.
same goes for MSPE, try to get 2 copies!

And its good to have a letter from the department chair/head but thats not deemed essential for application per se.
