Prof. Dr. Md. Younus won the NOBLE peace prize of 2006....jointly with Grameen Bank...this is the moment we the Bangladeshi waited for. In fact Bangladesh got two prizes ....from personal level and organizational level. After Rabindranath, Amartya Sen....DR. Younus....A great moment for the Bangladeshis and Bengalis....

That is great news! I was out of touch of current news for some time, didn't see it. I still can't believe it, NOBLE PRIZE won by a Bangladeshi!!! Do you remember him? He was so simple and strong from the very beginning. I wonder if he is still like that and I dearly hope he doesn't become corrupted by the system.

Because,

I was depressed that I didn't get shortlisted for GPVTS,
No hope from anywhere about job,
Not much contact with Bengali people,
Had an operation where the problem is still not sorted.

But hey, life is like that, isn't it? I just deal as best as I can with obstacles, and I am happy.
