dear ketamine11...
vague qns will always get vague or no replies..
the more specific ur qns the more likely u will get a feasible reply.

Here is a run down.
Decide early whether you want to study in India or abroad. The latter needs extensive investment of time and money.
I am assuming that you want a PG seat in India.Have a long time frame,a minimum of two years.
Here are the list of recommended books:
1)Ashish Gupta for AIIMS.
2)Mudit khanna for AIPGMEE.
3)Tehelka for anat,physio,biochem and forensic.
4)ACROSS for short subjects.

Begin with a diagnostic test.It basically tells you where you stand. Then solve the above MCQ books.Theory is being read by you for MBBS,I assume.
Form a two year time table.Stick to it.make note of revision time etc.It is vital.
Give yourself ample mock tests.
I think this should set you on the track....
let me know if you need clarifications.....

yup dear...always keep that in mind for your presentation also...
case presentation is sumthing u improve by practice...the examiners judge u from your ease and fluency..but dont get too fluent by presenting piccle and all...even practice in front of the mirror is helpful.. icon_smile.gif

hi ketamine..
i know it is easier said than done..i for one was and am still a very shy person when it comes to presentation..just discussing among friends and all is ok but when it coems to actual prsntn i was so far very successful in dodging every opportunity..but luckily i used to keep presenting to myself..talk out loud..it is important..not just running ur prsntn thru mind..make ur presntn as if sum1 is listening but calm urself with the thot that no one is doing so too...really helped me thru..in whole of surgery posting in mbbs including internal exams i have presented only 3 cases..difficult to believe i know, but the beauty is i topped the long case prsntn..ended up like an underdog of sorts...so this is a tried and tested method pal..
but if u r very comfortable with prsntns go on and present to ur friends, junior docs and best is chiefs so that they will know u when they c u for the xam...icon_wink.gif
