MPH to strengthen CV?
Hi
I am an IMG
How much will a MPH program help me strengthen my CV ?
I am thinking of joining a MPH program so that i can gain some hand on experience while completing MPH....Is it a valid step to take??

I heard MPH definitely strengthens application for IMG's. Specially FM programs and primary care track programs. USE MPH to make contacts.

MPH or Masters program in any relevant medical field will strengthen your application..you can choose a university and place where they even have teaching hospital attached to it who also train IMGs , so that you can make connections

Is it possible to get residency in future after doing Masters in Physician assistant program? I am confused about it since i havent heard of any IMG taking the path of PA to get residency in future instead of MPH.

it will definitely help, especially if you have some publications while you are persuing MPH

so try to publish as many articles or manuscripts as possible during the MPH and build contacts too

Mph helps, if u get some contacts during those 2 years. Mph per se wouldn’t help.
