to browse the specialty and general practice training programmes you will be to apply for from Monday 22 January 2007 at 9.00 am.

Clarification for F2 trainees
The statement ‘PMETB guidance for F2 doctors’ in Wednesday’s e-update was drafted with reference to trainees in oral and maxillofacial surgery and is not relevant to all F2 doctors as is suggested in the update. PMETB was asked if students who have completed a period of time as an SHO in oral and maxillofacial surgery will be regarded as having achieved the competences required at the end of F2. PMETB was not in a position to agree to this before a full consideration of the issues. The statement should be read in that light. For further details please see the PMETB letter on this topic. MMC apologises for any confusion

For doctors currently in F2, you will be eligible to apply for ST1 provided you believe that you will achieve the foundation competences by the end of your Foundation Programme.

Hello guys, some of the deaneries have given sample examples for ST application forms. You don’t have to copy them but it will give you some idea.
Those samples also explained how they mark your applications.
