its USG.first best one since it does show absence of fetus in the uterus n it wud confirm some mass in fallopian tubes.furthermore it's confirmed by laproscopy.then we proceed to Laparotomy 4 its t/m.this is wat i got from internship experience.

USG -i think best option with high beta HCG.
if ruptured go for laparatomy
laparoscopy - done when there is confussion of other pelvic condition(DATTA)

best inv is laprascopy,( yaar its always confirmatory to visualize directly than viewing by an instrument like usg)... ofcoure commonly done is usg but better than it is laprascopy or lapratomy... b hcg is not surely the ans bcoz it is elevated in both normal n ectopic one...albit a lower value may be found in ectopic one...

they have asked the best investigation and not the first investigation. So guys best would be to directly visualise. I'll go for lapro.

We have the same question and different options.
In first Q the best option and ans will be USG.

In second Q the best option is laparoscopy.

No confuse here: different options, but between USG and laparoscopy, for sure: LAPAROSCOPY .

USG in only defenitive if cardiac activity is detected in the tube or uterus.
Laparoscopy for defenitive Ds.
