Hello Advisor, read ur post on everything to knw about MPH ,it was very useful. CAN you pls also give ranking of the universitis considered best for pursuing epidemology.

i wanna know if i can directly apply for ph.d in epid. or Biostatistics after my m.d. in PSM (pursuing)

u can appli for phd in any public health branch epidemiology or community health medicine or infectious diseases etc
there is no rule that u have to do masters before phd in the depts u mentioned
it might be univ dependent. diff univs have diff requirements.
but as far as i browsed, one can directli get admitted into phd from 16 yrs study.

and for phd there are other eqquiremnets that

u appli very early so dat u get max consideration
u search a lot and look for univs with more funding and research oppurtunities
u shdu score min 1200 + in GRE
subject GR E required for soem univs
very good TO E FL scores also required 110+ or 250+

these are few imp points i cud gather when i was searchign for my masters degree offering univs in USA.

so bottom line is u can appli for Phd in whichever branch u want but ur test scores shdu be super and u shdu appli ealri to get asstships and etc.
