IF the proposed reservation in ALL-INDIA is implimented from this year onwards ...along with AIPGE
rankers ,state rankers too are set to loose
as many people have rank in both AIPGE
and state ,if reservation in AIPGE
is implemented the cutoff rank in states will increase as the AIPGE
rankers wont get seat of their preferred choice througt AI ,and will opt for it through States...
by now u must be aware of the intrim order passed by SC on friday 21st april regarding 10%reservation in ALL- INDIA, the case comes for hearing on monday when final verdict is expected to be passed...i have some fears to share with u..
1)this order if applied this year would mean loss of almost 300 seats from AI
2)The present counselling process may be scrapped and rescheduled
3)given the present political senrio prevaling in our country it is likely that some group or minister may come as a third party on monday asking for 50% reservation in that case half the seats may be lost( i dont intend to scare u ,but this is my worst nightmare )
4)the order may be implemented this year or next year , i feel we should not take any chance (there is a possibility that this order may be implemented this year as the admission process is still not over unlike the IIM)
our brave friend AMIT GUPTA is ready to fight this case for us but he is not getting adequate financial help from you
till now only Rs 30,000 has been collected for this case ..this is grossly short of senior lawyer fees of 1.2lakh(arun jaitley ) or 1.65lakh (harish salve)...
friends please dont ignore this or think that someone else will contribute
be quick to deposit money ,as today is sunday u may have to approach specific ICICI /SBI branches(see their websites) that provide online banking or if any of your friend has an online account tell him to pay on your behalf ...
be as united and quick as u were against the re-exam case(856 faxes in 36 hrs:)

i doubt the credibility of dr amit gupta, last year a few selected candidates had a quarrel with him due to the bank balance. would amit gupta like to be more transparent about his bank balance and the expenses which occured for fighting the case. i would like to know if amit gupta has all the papers in black and white related to this.
i have a friend in income tax who can get all the details of his account if time comes. will amit gupta like to reply to this....
