D) Ataxic nystagmus is seen in lesion of;
1. Labyrinth
2. Cerebellum
3. Vestibule
4. Medial longitudinal fascicules. Answer

Bickerstaff's Neuro. Exam. in Clin. Practice → Page 69
“Nystagmus of dissociated rhythm in the two eyes” This is the so-called 'ataxic nystagmus in intranuclear ophthalmoplegia. There is defective inward movement of the adducting eye with a fine nystagmus + a coarse, irregular, rather dramatic nystagmus of the abducting eye, of dissociated rate & rhythm.
→ may be mimicked by asymmetrical muscle weakness in M gravis.
Causes → lesions of the median longitudinal bundle. This most commonly, but by no means invariably, is caused by multiple sclerosis.”

answer to question a] is bradycardia simply by exclusion as the other thre are definitely mentioned as features of anorexia nervosa.

ans to b] is carbon dioxide inhalation though not practically used, theoretically that is the answer will let u know the reference soon...

ans to c] is decrease in co2 bcos as u know any metabolic abnormality is initially compensated by respiratory mechanisms so in presence of excess acid in the body co2 wash out is bound to occur by hyperventilating eg. kussmaul's breathing in salicylate poisoning.
