Hi,

At present it is very difficult for overseas or shall I say non-european doctors to get into the system. With the new visa regulations which I assume you are aware off, there is a heavy influx of doctors from eastern europe. European doctors are given the first priority for the job. Most of the non-european doctors working in UK hold HSMP visa. First you should visit MMC website to check whether you are eligible for an FY2 post or not. If you are eligible then there is no harm in applying but to be honest the chances of getting a job are very sleek. Let me know if you have any other doubts.

Good Luck

Hanks
