Hi,
here's something about PERSONA...(seen in web)

PERSONA is a completely new method of personal contraception, which works with the body. it's a NATURAL CONTRACEPTIVE

PERSONA is made up of simple, disposable urine Test Sticks, and a small hand-held Monitor. The Monitor reads the Test Sticks, learns about monthly menstrual cycle, and gives contraceptive advice each day.

PERSONA is simple to use. Simply opening the Monitor first thing each morning is to see which of the coloured lights is on:

GREEN means that person has the freedom of having sex without using a contraceptive
RED means that she is at risk of getting pregnant, so should avoid sex (typically 6-10 days a month), or use a barrier method of contraception.
YELLOW means that her PERSONA Monitor needs more information, and that she will need to use the Test Stick, to find out if it's a "Green" or "Red" day.
According to independent trials, PERSONA is 94% reliable when used according to the instructions, and as the only method of contraception (if 100 women use PERSONA for one year, 6 would be expected to become pregnant as a result of sex on Green days). PERSONA is therefore NOT suitable for women for whom pregnancy is totally unacceptable. PERSONA is only suitable for women whose natural monthly cycle is normally between 23 and 35 days.

Contraindication of use of Persona:
1] breast feeding
2] using treatments that affect hormone levels (eg the Pill, infertility treatments or HRT)
3] presence of menopausal symptoms.
4] Certain medical conditions, such as polycystic ovarian syndrome or impaired liver or kidney function
5] Tetracycline in certain conditions may affect the performance of PERSONA

Disadvantage:
PERSONA offers no protection against sexually transmitted disease, or against HIV.
