2 colleges of Bihar running unrecognised courses

It is surprising but it is true.
Some PG courses are running in two premier medical colleges of Bihar without recognition of the MCI for the past several years.

It has been brought to notice that PG courses of PSM being taught in the PMCH and Microbiology course in DMCH have never been recognised by the MCI.
But it has produced hundreds of students with the degrees for the past so many years.

Health Minister Chandramohan Rai admitted that the courses were not recognised but added that they would soon get recognition by the MCI as the government had already allotted funds to the two colleges.

"The MCI team is expected to visit the two colleges any day for inspection. Once it is done, the recognition will be given," he assured.

Rai insisted that the two colleges had already fulfilled the norms laid down by the MCI for running the courses and the recognition would be granted soon.
He also said the government would soon introduce PG courses in
Gaya medical college,
Muzaffarpur medical college
and Bhagalpur medical college.

katihar has started running PG courses
the news in market is that it is taking around 20-30 lacs for degrees.
