i think laptop wud b a preferred option 4 us medicos, b'cos then we can use it anywhere...be it casualty, sitting in wards...simply anywhere!!!!

sure laptops / notebooks are the best for student who moves at different places as it has a high mobility advantage and hope speed is good.all allmost 90 % of my friends here have notebook so as far as my use laptops are the best.but its true that special care is needed for laps tops but a desktop needs a bit less with best performance , but do medical students need such best performance?

Wel i think that 4 medicos a laptop is enough to fullfil their needs. N if u r very hi-tech sort of then u need a desktop.

i have a desktop, i keep downloading stuff, and i use my desktop till the edge. I have used laptops, and it has no appeal for me, unless i am travelling.

Well both have their purposes but mobility n portability is an issue for most people so going for a laptop is a very good option.But as they say to each his own.I have recently purchased a dell laptop and i am pretty happy with it..
