Have a book like BDC or KLM and netters Atlas or cunningham side by side.
Read the facts in BDC and visualize it with the help of the Atlas..

Learn beforehand and dissect it out the next day.. If u don't get the chance then closely observe... Never waste the time during dissection. its extremely important..

Come back to hostel/home and revise what u learnt tat day.. and after that start the study for the next day.

At the end of the week recollect everything taught that week. This shud fix the facts into your long term memory. Don't just cram facts....know the significance of the facts and agree and accept them.

Hope it helps..
Regards.

Dont miss the lectures. It helps to hear. Read once. Unterstand next time. Memorize the third. Keep the atlas with u for the second time. Make notes for exam questions the third time. Never underline when reading a chapter for the first time - u will end up highlighting everything. Try not to bother about unimportant topics eg. cutaneous blood supply, surface markings. Stick to one text book. U may refer others when u r bored or finished with the first one. Histo pracs and dissection help u get great marks in pracs. Just good embryo lectures and little study before exam is sufficient for embryo. NCERT Genetics is more than enough. Check out middle ear from Grays students edition. For muscles when u do bones u know origin and insertion so make list of muscles , n.supply and action. They ask that in pracs.Abdo clinical of organs is essential. Its fine but u fully understand the A only after finishing the Z.

i would like to add that " to get typical reading speed , one first needs to get familiar with the font of the text given in the particular book . one can develop such reading skill gradually with practice & not in one day.''
