Dear Brothr ,

I wil tel u wt i did in first year. I read satyanar for most of the topics but whn it comes to metabolism , i took Harper . As far as i kno tis is the best way to do .
Don't tak mcq's now itself......

our prof said vasudevan is d best book for biochem. he even said i couldn't understand why students r so crazy 4 reading satyanarayan. it is popular for no reason.

he also said DONT READ HARPER 27TH EDN coz it is too condensed n not student friendly who hav just entered med. school. u can use it rather than a review book after u read vasudevan.

He also said that 25th n 26th Edn. of Harper are better than this one. if u can get 25th edn. that will be d best to clear all ur concepts. the 25th edn. has 900 + pages while current edn. has only 600 pages.
