Dear Abhishek,
Many thanks for such a detailed info.
Is it realy true that you can apply for PR without getting Full Registration with AMC because my understanding was; AMC offer you conditional Reg and wait for Specialist college to decide about your fate? and untill then you work on a temp resident visa.
Recently I have been offered a job as a staff specialist Psychiatrist in QLD. I have a MRCPsych
and DPM,,working as a Locum consultant in UK for 4 years. I am wondering whether I will be given exemptions from Fellowship? If they ask me to sit in the Exam, what are the passing percentage in the clinicals and how likely it is for IMG to do these Exams.
I would appreciate your advice.

If you're going to have an agency help you, please be extra careful esp. when they ask for payment.
And as drpardha said, do your homework. Nothing beats a well informed person.
Regards.

Yes NIC,
I have never come across any hospital here employing agencies to recruite doctors from India. All the recruitement agencies here concentrate on the west mostly.

Hi
Can anyone advise? I have been offered an AON position and have to get my qualifications assessed by AMC and the specialist college, RACP in my case. Can anyone give me an idea what the specialist college expects on interview? I will be taking a telephonic interview. What kind of questions do they ask? Someone told me they do not ask professional questions, but only clarify training & experience details. The professional interview is conducted by the employer (I have already taken that) and once he is satisfied you get a job offer. So what does the specialist college(RACP) interview of AON position consist of? Plz someone advise
