it was with rosy eyes that i entered into MD OBGY.
now i know that the severest CHEEKHA CHILLY place in a medical college is none but the gynaec dept.
over inflated egos, restlessness, dissatisfaction and sarcasm are the key words ruling almost all the obgy departments.
we joined this branch in search for happiness and satisfaction. but what are we geting here?
i have learnt to pay more attention to a patient's bed sheet than her stitchline..
i can go on and on over this..
frankly tell me,fellow gynaecs...
IS IT ONLY I WHO FEELS THIS?OR U TOO SHARE MY THOUGHTS?
WHY ARE GYNAECS LIKE THIS?
MORE IMPORTANTLY,IS THERE A REMEDY?

yes. am sick of the kich kich in my dept. if u r not gloomy, people don thnk u r serious about work... i have millions of grudges about my dept

The irony is that most lady gynaecologists treat their patients (and PGs) the worst. I do not know if that is becuase of their own anger during their own child birth!!!!!!!! On the other hand male gynecologists are quite polite to their patients and trainees alike. I do not know but that is my experience.
