Q 176 ISNT IT BE HIDA SCAN Absolutely -- The test of choice to document acute cholecystitis is an HlDA scan. If the presence of a stone obstructing the cystic duct, the labeled, intravenously administered iminodiacetic acid can't pass into the gallbladder This is pathognomonic for acute cholecystitis. But can we Mark USG as well In PGI ?

Q 231 both are posible with Topical Steroids . Uveitis is true as well .A detailed list of S/E of topical Steroids is given below→
1. Elevation of IOP with possible development of glaucoma and infrequent optic nerve damage
2. posterior subcapsular cataract formation
3. delayed wound healing
4. Suppression of host response and thus ↑ secondary ocular infections.
5. In diseases causing thinning of the cornea or sclera, perforation has been known to occur with the use of topical corticosteroids.
6. may mask infection or enhance existing infection In acute purulent conditions of the eye,
7. acute anterior uveitis or perforation of the globe.
8. Mydriasis, loss of accommodation, and ptosis have occasionally been reported following local use of corticosteroids.
9. systemic effects are extremely uncommon, there have been rare occurrences of systemic hypercorticoidism after use of topical corticosteroids.
