Hi everyone....

SGPGI 2008 notification is out. The number of seats are disappointingly low!!!!
Anyway here it is..

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. The Theory Examination for selection of Senior Residents (HS) will be held on Sunday 2nd December,
2007 at 10 AM.
2. The number of Senior Resident (Hospital Services) seats/posts advertised may increase or decrease.
3. Reservation will apply as per rule. Reservation will be admissible only to candidates having Domicile in the state
of Uttar Pradesh. Candidates having Domicile other than Uttar Pradesh will be treated as General category
candidates for all purposes.
4. The Candidates must possess MD/MS Degree or equivalent qualification recognized by MCI while applying for the
post.
5. The Admit Cards can be printed by candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria failing which their application will
be rejected.
6. The Theory Examination for selection of MD Courses will be held on Sunday 27th January, 2008 at 10
AM.
7. The information brochure and application forms for Senior Resident (Hospital Services) will be available on
Institute website [http://www.SGPGI .ac.in]. The candidates will have to fill up ONLINE APPLICATION FORM
which will be available on website with effect from Monday 22nd October 2007 to 19th November 2007.
8. Information brochure and application form for MD Courses will be available on Institute website
[http://www.SGPGI .ac.in]. The candidates will have to fill up ONLINE APPLICATION FORM which will be
available on website with effect from 20th November 2007 to 26th December 2007.
9. Application will be received ONLINE only, no request for application form will be entertained.
10. The last date of receiving of completed application forms along with necessary enclosures as mentioned in
check list and a Bank Draft for Rs 1000/- drawn in favor of Director, SGPGIMS, Lucknow Academic
Account, drawn on SBI, SGPGI Branch, (Code No. 7789), payable at Lucknow, is 19th November 2007 for
SR (HS)/PDF course and 26th December 2007 for MD course.
11. Eligibility status of each application will be available on the same Website on 23rd November 2007 for Senior
Resident (Hospital Services)/PDF course.
12. Eligibility status of each application will be available on the same Website on 15th January 2008 for MD Course.
13. Eligible candidates for SR (HS)/PDF course can print their Admit Card ONLINE (only once) between 27th
November 2007 to 30th November 2007, using their password provided at the time of filling the application.
14. Eligible candidates for MD course can print their Admit Card ONLINE (only once) between 20th January 2008 to
25th January 2008, using their password provided at the time of filling the application.
15. Since the application forms are to be filled ONLINE the candidate must ensure that they fill the correct and
complete information. On the basis of the information filled by the candidates ONLINE, their suitability for
appearing in the entrance examination will be assessed. The institute will not be responsible if application of any
candidate is rejected on the basis of information filled by him ONLINE in the application form.
16. While filling ONLINE Application Forms candidates must follow the instructions on the screen.
17. Incomplete application and application received after the last date will summarily be rejected.
18. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Director, SGPGIMS, Lucknow, will be final.
19. The completed application along with enclosures (print out of application form filled ONLINE along with Bank
Draft and all necessary documents) should be sent latest by 19th November 2007 for SR (HS)/PDF course
through courier or speed post in a envelope super scribed “Application for entrance exam of PDF/SR (HS)” and
26 December 2007 for MD course addressed to Executive Registrar, SGPGIMS, Raebareli Road, Lucknow
226 014.

Number of seats in General Category

Anasthesia 1
Radiology 1
Nuclear Medicine 1
Microbiology 1
Radiotherapy 1
Transfusion Medicine 1
Pathology 1

There is a seat each in Anasthesia, Radiology, Radiotherapy and Transfusion Medicine for SC category. And a seat in Microbiology and Pathology for OBC
