step3 & California letter

i just submitted my online application for step3 to the state board of california....then i came across this California Letter... i havent applied for it so far,...
can any1 of you plz tell me whether i need to apply for this letter rite now?
will my step3 application be rejected just because of the fact that i dont have a california letter...
Some1 plz help...

well buddy,
you dont need calif-letter for step3
books reqd- first aid, kaplan notes, crush, UW...
although step3 kaplan notes arent really a craze but still its good to have a look at it....you can very well go thro strep2 notes....
hope this piece of info helps....

but what is california letter plz tell,do i need it in residency plz tell me soon,
i have scoreof 88% and i am an img.
i want to take resd in surgery and allied ,
is it good to take step3 first .

Hi
I'm in the process of applying to the Connecticut state medical licensing board for my step 3 exam. but the problem is my application won't go through without a social security number or national identification number either of which i don't have. Please suggest a solution fast as the deadline is approaching.

img's dont have & dont require a SSN in order to apply to step3...
if i'm not wrong i was told to type all "zeros" in place of SSN at the time of applying...
still its always better to contact FSMB... call them up for any query... they are there just to help distressed souls like ours!!! 
anyway by this time you would have already appeared for your step3 exam.... how was it?? do share your step 3 experience...
