Looking at the latest news about the scandles of MTAS, I am getting worried about our chances in FY1.
From BBC ;
"On 17 March 2007 over 12,000 doctors marched in London to object to 'Medical Training and Application System' (MTAS) and 'Modernising Medical Careers'. This is the largest such march in the history of the medical profession. At that march David Cameron (leader of the conservative party) stated that there are people in parliament who have described Hewitt as the "worst Health Secretary in the history of the NHS" this was met with rapturous applause. At a simultaneous rally in Glasgow, calls for Patricia Hewitt's resignation by Graeme Eunson of the Scottish Junior Doctors Committee provoked some of the biggest cheers of the day."
"On 12 April 2007, independent newspaper "Hospital Doctor" reported a poll that officially confirmed Patricia Hewitt as the "Worst Ever" Health Secretary. The report stated that only 3% of respondents thought she was the best Health Secretary, even when compared with the last three Labour Health Secretaries .On the 28th April 2007, more health workers called for Hewitt to stand down as Health Secretary following what they described as a "shambolic" reform of medical training on her behalf. "
"MTAS has also been criticised for being badly designed and junior doctors have objected to the fact that there are estimated to be 10,000 more applicants than posts under the Modernising Medical Careers scheme."

I am doing my Clinical attachment in Pediatrics in Welwyn Garden City.
I came here from South INDIA after my graduation and donot have any PG experience.
I applied to about 5 posts both F1 and F2.
I dont know whether the answers i am giving are the ones they want or not.
To my knowledge, for the stand alone posts, experience is counted.
All the best.
